May

What an action-packed May it has been!

This month gave me many opportunities to connect with business and community leaders across Southern Nevada. I attended the Henderson Chamber's Meet the Candidates event, several Vegas Chamber gatherings, and a Latin Chamber luncheon focused on the future of business and transportation in Nevada (planes, trains, and automobiles!)

It was exciting to hear directly from leaders who are helping shape our state's future. I'm especially proud to be endorsed by these organizations because it reflects a shared commitment to economic growth, job creation, and keeping Nevada a great place to live and do business.

February may have been a short month, but it was absolutely packed both for me and for my campaign!

One of the greatest privileges of serving is connecting with the people who make our community so special. From my monthly Coffee with Constituents gatherings to thoughtful conversations with leaders who shape our neighborhoods, I’m constantly inspired. I had the honor of meeting

with our Enterprise Area Command LVMPD officers, who shared valuable insight into practical changes we can make to keep our community safer.

As I look back on the past year, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement.

Completing both my first regular session and special session in the Assembly was an incredible milestone.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting inspiring community leaders dedicated stakeholders, and passionate constituents who pour their hearts into making Nevada a better place every single day.

Your commitment motivates me more than you know.

Exciting Times in Nevada Politics

March is an exciting and pivotal month in Nevada politics. It’s when all prospective candidates officially file to run for office. Even though I went through this process two years ago, walking into the Clark County Government Center to file as a candidate again was just as inspiring.

It’s a moment that reminds me why I

do this work: to serve and represent you.  Now that filing has closed, we know what the election landscape looks like, and I’m focused on running a strong, positive campaign for your continued trust and support.

Hello friends, and happy New Year!

As we head into a new year, things are already moving fast! Work, policy, and politics are in full swing. I’ve set ambitious goals for the months ahead: staying connected with our community, developing thoughtful and impactful legislation, and of course, earning your trust and support to be re-elected so I can continue serving you.

Even outside of session, the work never slows down. Interim committees are underway, and I’m excited to be actively involved during this critical time. I’m proud to serve on the Health and Human Services Committee as well as the Senior, Veterans, and Disabled Interim Committee.

November was such a busy month!

Just as you think the year is starting to wind down, the politics heats back up!

The month started the RJC annual summit right here in Las Vegas.  It was a great opportunity to connect with old and new friends from all over the US.

While these organizations often focus more on national elected positions, Nevada politics is very important because we are a swing state.

Local politics matter!
